Description<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Located at the northern entrance to the Haitian capital, the Arcadins coast takes its name from the homonymous islets that lie off this 19 kilometers coastline bathed by the Gulf of Gon\u00e2ve from Williamson to the Xaragua hotel. The development of this part of the Haitian coast began in the 1980s with the infrastructure works initiated by President Duvalier on the National Route n1. It houses mangrove forests and 650 extraordinary hotel rooms. These include: Kaliko Beach, Le Moulin sur Mer, Wahoo Bay, and Royal Decameron Beach Resort.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Biodiversity<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The Arcadins coast is a place with a high concentration of fish species. It is a biological corridor through which many marine mammals such as dolphins and whales pass. With the presence of mangroves along this coast, it serves as a breeding and resting place for spiny lobsters, lobsters, shrimps… and guarantees the sustainability of coral reefs that are highly threatened by climate change.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ecotourism potential <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

After the seaside resort of Ladabee located on the north coast of Haiti, the Arcadins coast, with its beautiful beaches of fine white sand, is one of the best developed and most attractive coastal areas in the country. It has the advantage of being located between the sea breeze and the gentle winds from the mountains that form its contour, where long hiking trails can be developed. This corner of happiness that forms the interface between the indigo blue waters and the coconut palms of the coast offers a sensational pleasure for visitors to meet with the smoked creole fish of Haitian gastronomy.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
