This covers an area of 12 hectares and represents one of the water towers in the area that gives rise to several rivers such as La Momance, Rivi\u00e8re Grise and Rivi\u00e8re Froide. With its 400 hectares of land surrounding it, it was declared a &#8220;Protected Area&#8221; in 2019 (the official publication of the decree is still pending). Wynn Farm is recognized as an important area dedicated to preserving nature and teaching eco-citizenship.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"sa-biodiversite\">Biodiversity<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The ecological cradle of Haiti, Wynne Farm serves as a refuge for approximately 200 species of plants and 300 families of insects, many species of toads, butterflies, and endemic birds to the country as well as migratory birds from North America and other regions of the world. This reserve contains thousands of species of trees. With its tranquility and greenery, it is a true paradise for all those who seek happiness in the midst of nature.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ses-potentialites-ecotouristiques\">Ecotourism potential<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 1994, Wynne Farm has been a nature reserve open to the public. His foundation \u201cWynne for the Environment\u201d organizes ecological tours, internships for agronomy students, peasant workshops on sustainable agriculture and school environmental awareness programs. The farm receives around 15,000 visitors a year.
