Important not to confuse it with Paradise, a small waterfall below the Carbet waterfalls, in Capesterre-Belle-Eau. The most beautiful easily accessible waterfall in the city, it stands out for its wall decorated with basalt columns; its pond, a true bathtub in which it is worth immersing; and its bubbling fall as a backdrop, descending forcefully on the rocky plane over which it rests.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This gorge is a tributary of the Grande Rivi\u00e8re de Vieux-Habitants, the jewel of the city and undoubtedly the most beautiful river in Guadeloupe.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"sa-biodiversite\">Biodiversity<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The Grande Rivi\u00e8re valley is the longest, most beautiful and richest on the Leeward Coast. Beginning at the foot of Mat\u00e9liane and Sans-Toucher, in the extreme north, it crosses the central part of Basse-Terre and its beautiful tropical forest, a melting pot of the diversity of living beings.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ses-potentialites-ecotouristiques\">Ecotourism potential<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The walk lasts around 1h30 and is relatively easy. La cascade propre et sauvage est peu frequent\u00e9e car peu pourtant tr\u00e8s frequent\u00e9e car tr\u00e8s connue. But, the paths are well maintained as they enter the heart of the National Park, in the action area of the Verte Vall\u00e9e association, administrator of the Habitation Caf\u00e9i\u00e8re La Griveli\u00e8re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This place, essential in the Caribbean, can be the starting point or the culmination of this tour.
